This Privacy Statement refers to how  Environment Technology (Et) of 105 Pascoe Street, Nelson 7010  respects your privacy in the storage, use and security of the data we collect and hold in the course of providing the best service we can to our clients and suppliers.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Information is collected by Et for the purposes of communicating with clients, designers and installers including for the supply of correct product information, training and certification, AES design review, the installation process, inspecting an AES wastewater treatment system and for recording customer satisfaction levels.

We may collect

  • Names, addresses and contact details of AES Certified Designers and Installers who have successfully completed our online training programme and who have confirmed their wish to receive referrals from ET.
  • Names, addresses and contact details of the original owners of the installation designs we are peer reviewing for the purposes of sending them information on the correct use of their AES system such as an Owners Operation Manual and customer satisfaction feedback.
  • Sand suppliers who provide sand suitable for use with AES installations and who have agreed for us to include their details on the website or make available to Certified Installers.
  • The Environment Technology online Certification Course registers users and stores the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete personal information at any time with the exception of their username. Web administrators have access to edit that information.
  • Chatline responses are retained within the application for the purposes of responding effectively, providing appropriate information, reviewing staff engagement and providing training.
  • AES inquiries received by email or phone, the names and contact details of those enquiring are retained for appropriate follow up.
  • Website enquiries contact form as is emailed to Environment Technology are retained for the purpose of responding to an enquiry and providing relevant information.
  • Accounts set up to purchase products from the website collect name, address and contact details. These are retained within the eCommerce application and the Et database.

Environment Technology staff or contractors, and only for the purposes given above.

How long is information kept?

Information is retained for as long as required to meet the purposes stated above.
